WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF RECEPTIONS REQUIRING A SUITABLE DECOR

There can be many opportunities to organise a reception. It can be a solemn and serious event. In such case, it is recommended to respect some rules, codes from which it is difficult to derogate. Nomination ceremony for a professional position, presentation of a distinction, an award, a diploma, a medal, etc. A reception can also be organised for the arrival of an illustrious person, the commemoration of a historical event, the inauguration of a new building, etc. In short, there is no lack of official opportunities.

Although these are all solemn, other receptions can also be more joyful. The best example of this type is that of a reception for a wedding. This, very particular, deserves to be described in more detail. Still others are more simply parties that are organised to celebrate an event: passing an exam, obtaining a diploma, the first "real" work, buying a house, housewarming party, etc., there are so many opportunities to party and organise a small reception. In addition to weddings, other receptions are often held in the family context. An engagement, birth, baptism, birthday, or religious festival often serves as a pretext to organise large family meetings. All these moments require very different treatments and a particular organisation, whether to manage the guests, to take care of the food and drinks, the furniture, the preparation of speeches or animations, games, etc. Decorating a reception room also requires time and skills, regardless of the reception to be organised.

A reception room is above all a room intended to host the public, and it is precisely the decoration you give the location that will determine the nature of the event. Defining decorating rules can therefore depend on the context of the event, especially if themes are juxtaposed with the organisation. A reception can thus be set up under the banner of football, space exploration, the Caribbean or any other theme. It goes without saying that decorations are necessarily very different. Regardless of the reception to be organised, decorating the room is essential, even if there are no pre-established rules or formulae. It is partly on the decoration that the outcome of an event depends. A successful decoration also helps to leave a good impression in the memory of the guests.

To help you create the ideal setting for your reception, CTN offers you a wide range of decorative solutions for floors, walls and ceilings that will help you create a real atmosphere that your guests will remember.

In this regard, the company offers a very high quality digital printing service, thanks to which the floors can be decorated according to the customer's wishes. This decoration can be applied on vinyl coverings, as well as on carpet. CTN has carpets of different thicknesses, from 400gr/m² to 1300gr/m², printable according to the customer's instructions. This very original decoration is virtually limitless. Simply provide a digital file complying with the technical specifications provided by CTN. The textile, in particular the wall, can also benefit from CTN's digital printing service. And here too, it is possible to give free rein to one's creativity. Regarding textiles, CTN has its own sewing workshop. Thanks to this integrated know-how, the company can offer a customised tailoring service to its customers. This service is available for the manufacture of curtains — lined or not —, hotel or stage curtains, backcloths, chair covers, tablecloths. Regarding the curtains, tailoring is particularly recommended for their upper part, whether to make recumbent pleats or to place eyelets or hooks. The workshop is also useful for the production of the hems of the curtains, as well as those of other textile items, necessary for the decoration of a reception room.

CTN RECYCLING, A RESPONSIBLE APPROACH

CTN has set up a process that allows it, at the end of the receptions, to reprocess part of the materials it has provided to its customers. This concerns in particular two of these materials: brushed cotton and carpet. CTN thus proposes to recover all or part of the brushed cotton used for wall coverings, curtains, velum panels, tablecloths, etc. To do this, the customer must carefully sort the various brushed cotton items before placing them in Big Bags, that is to say the large bags made available to them by CTN. When it comes to carpet, CTN only recovers Rewind®, which is 100% recyclable. At the end of the reception, the carpet must be rolled and placed in a cage, also provided by CTN. Three options are available to customers who wish to use CTN Recycling: CTN collects the cages and Big Bags at the event site; CTN picks up the carpet and brushed cotton from the customer; the customer itself delivers the materials to CTN. At the end of the recycling process, the brushed cotton is recovered and integrated into insulation panels. As for Rewind® carpet, this is transformed into pellets, which themselves will then give life to new PP plastic objects. CTN even issues a recovery certificate to customers. CTN Recycling is a responsible approach, as the event sector is a very large consumer of raw materials, every year. To conclude, whatever the setting you wish to create in a reception room, CTN offers you a wide selection of solutions for decorating floors, ceilings and walls that will allow you to create a unique atmosphere with quality products.
